A trail of books to ancient Christian teaching

For some, more than others, it is important to understand God as much as one can with one's own mind. Good books can help with that. I offer the following short sequence of books which are part of my journey of intellectual acceptance of God and spiritual life.

- Walden - Henry David Thoreau
- Aristotle for Everybody - Mortimer J. Adler
- * The Last Supersition - Edward Feser
- God's Revelation to the Human Heart - Fr. Seraphim Rose
- The Way of a Pilgrim
- Orthodoxy and Heterodoxy - Andrew Steven Damick
So, I hope that reading these books in this order it will be helpful for someone. If I were to make a longer list, then first I would add Mere Christianity by C. S. Lewis and then more of Feser's books.
* The Last Superstition, which makes an essential proof that God exists, is the crux of this list.
