Analog

In this digital age, many people in the USA spend so much time online and on smartphones.
I would say that this is time spent being digital
,
and I propose a new attitude or paradigm which is being analog
.
Being more analog means touching grass and talking to people. There's no need to use advanced technology whenever simpler technology will do. You could say that the Amish are a radically Analog community.
Presence
A quick note on having on online presence:
an increase of digital presence often corresponds to a decrease of analog
presence.
More time online is often a sort of an escapist digital retreat from analog reality.
Being more physically present is an advance and a real assault upon our tech overlords
(I'm only half-kidding).
